Not really a word, but Adam, Billy and I we're liking the redesigns idea.

So this week-ish word is, Captain America. I decided to do him because I just watched the really cool weird movie, "The Devil and Daniel Johnston." And he had a really crazy way of drawing Captain America. So I thought hey you could draw him as well.

Also I really want to know who is still even looking at the forum. So if you would be so kind, even if you don't plan on posting anything please respond to this with a reply that you're still around.

Would be nice to get a idea of how dead this place really is.

yes. specific, but i'd like to see how people portray this certain duck. he's probably one of my favorite looney toons characters. i think a lot of people can really relate to his misadventures. he seems to always have this plan, but it always backfires and makes him look really stupid. so yeah... have fun!

these are all of the thing i've made over break and/or edited. the bottom one was one i showed awhile ago, and i changed the portrait. i like it a lot more. the crazy boy/bear thing i managed to scan the whole thing now. i also changed some parts of the eyes and the face. i didn't really have photoshop for a majority of the time, so i pretty much painted. all of those are created with ink, acrylic, and watercolor.

this is for the food and beverage week. I've always helped my parents cook thanksgiving dinner, but I've never actually put the turkey in the oven. I had no idea about the little "pop up timer" that's attatched to the turkey. I saw it on the package, but didn't know how it worked. My mom just kept saying that it just "popped up and you know it's done" Of course, the only thing I could think of was the alien bursting out of the guy's stomach. And thus this picture was born.

Hey guys! Welcome to the Minneapolis Art Community Blog! First off, to all the people who have gotten the invites, feel free to post a recent art piece or whatever, and write a few words about it.

After thinking about it, I figured it would be a waste of a couple weeks to just have everyone sitting around doing nothing, so I figured I would create the first theme today...
