here's something new

i made this a week ago... i posted it on my site, but i wanted to revive this community since it seems like its dying :( :( :(

acrylic, watercolor, and pen on canvas.

the first one was done for illustration friday, "mask", but i didn't turn it in on time. the other two were just to see how well i could draw in someone else's style. i haven't really copied anything in forever, and my "Bambi" and "Jungle Book" vhs tapes were catching my eye. i just wanted to practice my inking skills.

here is a bird hanging on a tree branch. maybe it's perched, whatever.
16"x20", acrylic, watercolor, sharpie, and matte medium on canvas.

also, this week's word is discussion. and if you'd like, you can also do the movie poster that's due on dec. 26th. have fun!

Well, better late then never.

attention!!

Since finals are this week for most of you students and dreadful christmas is approaching... I was thinking maybe we could do the Movie Posters theme... it could be due the 26th of December... that way since everyone is busy we'd have enough time to make something sweet without worrying about keeping up on it through the holiday... if you disagree with this idea, we can do something else just thought I'd throw it out there before someone thought up the word for this week... emily

Lopsided, two headed bunny!!!!! I made this because i was unimpressed with my first attempt at abnormal... i liked it better because it's cute and sad at the same time!
